Beautiful stylish results are important when coating furniture. The Sayerlack Ultra-fresh waterbased range can be used to produce finishes that are indistinguishable in quality, strength and chemical resistance as two-pack polyurethane finishes. Sayerlack is at the forefront of waterbased technology that is conscientious about the wellbeing of people and the environment. AT99 is a one-pack waterborne, topcoat designed for interior joinery ensuring beautiful vibrant colours, good hardness, chemical resistance and smoothness to the touch.

This product is particularly suitable for spraying interior wooden components where durability, good even matting and good chemical resistance is required. It's the ideal product for kitchen doors, flat parts, turned parts, picture frames and matchboards. It can be sprayed using a conventional gun, airmix system, airless spray system and electrostatic gun. It comes ready to use and can be thinned using 5% water if necessary. AT99 can be used as it is, however further chemical resistance can be achieved with 1% XA4080/00 Crosslinker.

For best results, we suggest priming the surface with two to three coats of Sayerlack AU047400 Waterbased White Primer. Once fully cured denib the surface using 240-320 grit stearate abrasives. They provide a higher efficiency than conventional abrasives. Ensure the surface is completely clean of dust and debris before coating.

AT99 is a fully pigmented system that can be tinted to any colour shade desired. With good drying conditions and air circulation (20°C), achieve a good build with one coats of 120-140 g/m². Under these circumstances, the substrate can stacked in 24 hours. Lower temperatures and higher relative humidity can lead to longer drying times, but it is possible to speed up drying using heated ovens.

Due to the high chemical resistance of Waterbased Topcoats, the packaging used does not usually cause problems. We recommend high-density polythene. PVC or Pluriball are not suitable.

Sayerlack XA4095/00 @ 3% for greater chemical resistance.
